Spain!

Looks like I'm almost done with our plans for Spain. The itinerary looks like this:

3 nights Barcelona
fly to Seville, stay 2 nights
train to Ronda, stay 1 night
train/ferry to Tangier, Morocco, stay 1 night
ferry/train to Granada, stay 2 nights
train to Madrid, stay 2 nights

I've booked everything except Granada and Madrid which I'll do tonight.

NOW I'm really excited. I just hope I feel as good as I have been and everything goes smoothly.

Irene do you think I'm doing too much? I don't want to overdo it. I guess we can adjust things if I'm feeling tired or something and just play it by ear.

So far I feel fine. Just more hungry. I'm still working out and feel great. I'm very lucky I guess!

Ahhh....Spain. *sigh*
If you can fit it in when you go to Morocco, stop by Gibralter and see the rock and the Barbary Apes. On my flickr thing on my blog there's a picture of me with one on my back.
We didn't get to Morocco because we were one day behind on our trip.
Have FUN. I LOVE Spain. 'Course I associate it with my honeymoon. =)

Hey, Simone, are you worried about doing "too much" in terms of being too tired because of your pregnancy? It is hard to say because every pregnancy is so different! I was super tired during my first trimester - starting around 6 weeks, I think - and was literally going to bed at 6:30 or 7 PM and sleeping all through the night! But if you aren't feeling fatigue yet, then maybe you won't get that symptom at all. (My friend Esther did not experience any fatigue at all during her pregnancy.) Like you said, just play it by ear and be flexible.

In terms of the itinerary in general, I also spent 3 nights in Barcelona, and we actually felt kind of tight on time. There is so much see in Barcelona - especially if you enjoy art. You might want to pick out a couple "must see" destinations in Barcelona that you definitely don't want to miss and which you can plan around, otherwise, you might find yourself missing them!
