Lesson learned

I am watching the RNC because I feel I should. But it makes me sick, angry and unbelievably upset. So I am blogging...

I learned some lessons tonight while running in Central Park:

*Rats come out the second it gets dark. Lots of them. And they're not scared of me.

*Runners disappear the second it gets dark. I don't know where they all went but all of a sudden I was running with far fewer people than when I had begun.

*There are way too many lights out in Central Park around the reservoir.

*I am scared silly the second it gets dark and will now have to find somewhere/sometime else to run after works.

*There are no more fireflies.

*Summer has ended.

This sucks.
