First Potty

I bought Sophie a Baby Bjorn potty seat and step stool on Friday to see how she'd like it. Upon putting it on the toilet she immediately wanted to give it a try. I put her on first with clothes, then asked her if she wants her diaper off. Of course she said yes, as she is always ready to take off clothes as most toddlers are. Then she wanted ALL her clothes off, right down to the socks! She didn't do any pee pee or poopies, but she did enjoy feeling like a big girl. She got on, then off, then on, then off repeatedly until she felt comfortable. Then of course she grabbed a nearby magazine and I was able to snap this hilarious shot!

I think it'll be awhile before she actually gets the idea of using the potty for it's intended purpose, but at least she'll get the hang of it and be comfortable for when she is ready!
