Return of the Crap

So we saw Star Wars Friday night. What crap. Can't this man do at least one movie right? It wasn't a complete waste as seeing the final battle btwn Anakin & Obi Wan was good (nice touch w/ the legs) and of course the suiting up of DV was awesome but it's a shame I had to sit through 2 hours of possibly the worst dialogue ever written just to see those few good parts. Yoda was a little too animated but cute nonetheless. And what is with that whole crap about why he turned. COME ON! I truly believe Lucas thinks were all idiots and needs crap spelled out for us and that we'd fall for such lame excuses to become evil (I'm trying not to give anything away here for people who haven't seen it yet-CELVYN!).

Anyhoo, rest of the wknd was great. First wknd where we didn't have to go to LI or anywhere else. It was all our time. Woke up late, jogged in the park, had dinner with the family in the East Village at Pylos for Matthew's birthday. Sunday we went to B&N to get paint ideas for our new apt. We're thinking a nice sage green for the bdrm, a dark red for the hallway/entryway. Still can't decide on the living room or the second bedroom. I can't wait to move.

This wknd is our trip to Dominican Republic. Weather forecast? Showers and thunderstorms. Hopefully it will be passing storms that will just cool us off from the blinding heat as we lay by the pool with our pina coladas.
