Happy 8 Months Sophie

BOING

Never did I think our 7 1/2 month old daughter would already be sporting pigtails!

The video below was also taken last night after Sophie received her 4th Hanukkah gift, a soft ball that makes a BOING sound when hit hard. She loved watching Papa hit himself on the head with it. Ah violence and pain, so funny.

C is for Cookie

Sophie celebrates her first Hannukah this week. She loved watching the candles being lit, mainly because she wanted to grab them. We can't find our Menorah though, so we've just been lighting the candles on a plate. She's been getting one toy a night. First night a baby piano, then some Roll-a-Round Balls, and last night her very first Cookie Monster stuffed animal.

David and I have been exchanging gifts every night too, which we normally don't do. It's nice to celebrate together as a family. Sophie will be 8 months next week. Where on earth does the time go? And Christmas is also around the corner, as is our trip to Miami. Gotta get shopping.

Sophie is now standing up and letting go, balancing for about 30 seconds or so before grabbing on or falling. We think walking is just around the corner.
